Frequently asked questions

The data

Where does the creator data come from?
From public profiles and posts. Every record is a catalog record: the creator hasn't joined Giga Influence or agreed to work with anyone. Profiles show when each figure was observed.
Which platforms do you cover?
Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and X, in one search. Every result says which platform it's from, and you can search one platform or all four.
How fresh is it?
Every creator page and printed report shows the date its data is as of, and exports carry the date too. The numbers are worked out from the creator's recent public posts each time we refresh the catalog, so a page can show newer data than a report you saved earlier.
Do you show audience demographics or fake-follower scores?
Not yet. We only show what we can measure from public data and say what each number is based on. Where something is unknown, we show a dash rather than a guess.
What if a creator wants their profile corrected or removed?
They can write to us and we'll correct or remove it. The privacy notice explains what we hold about creators and how to ask.

Profiles and allowances

What's in a full profile?
One scrolling page. At the top: followers and their growth, engagement rate, median likes, posts per week, partnership share and last post. Then top hashtags, the 10 most popular posts and the latest 10 partnership posts, each linking to the original post. Then collaboration activity: every brand and creator they worked with in the last 12 months, paid or collab, on a 12-month timeline. Last come a follower growth chart and every metric with its definition and how many posts it's based on. The page says when the data is as of.
What uses a search page?
Each page of 20 results, the first page included. Changing the words, a filter or the sort starts a new search. Re-reading a page your workspace already paid for this usage month is free: the back button, a reload or a teammate's link.
What uses a profile view?
Opening a creator's full page for the first time: popular and partnership posts, collaboration activity, growth and every metric, all at no extra charge. It uses one profile view automatically, while your workspace has views left. It's once per creator for the whole workspace: your workspace keeps the creator for good, and anyone in it reopens the page free in every usage month. Search results and list rows show the creator's card and never use a view.
Can I print a creator's page?
Yes, for any creator your workspace has viewed. The printable report is the same page in a print layout, with the date its data is as of. A saved PDF keeps its numbers when the catalog is refreshed later.
What counts as working with a brand?
A post that carries Instagram's paid-partnership label, or a collab post shared with another account, in the last 12 months. A brand that is only tagged or mentioned doesn't count yet.
Why do some metrics show a dash?
Because we couldn't measure them honestly from the public posts available, for example views on a platform that doesn't show them. A dash means unknown, never zero.

Plans and billing

When do allowances reset?
Every usage month. It runs from the day your workspace was created, or the day you first bought a plan, not from the 1st of the month. The Usage page shows the reset date. Unused search pages and profile views don't carry over.
Do yearly plans get a year's allowance up front?
No. A yearly plan is billed once a year at 20% off, and its allowances still arrive month by month, the same as a monthly plan.
What happens if we run out?
Lists, exports, every creator you've viewed and every search page already paid for this month keep working. New search pages or profile views wait for the reset, or you can upgrade now and pay only the prorated difference.
Can we change plans?
Yes. An upgrade starts straight away: you pay the prorated difference for the rest of the period, and the higher allowances apply this month. A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal.
Can we cancel?
Any time, from your workspace's Billing page. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to Free. Nothing is deleted: lists, viewed creators, members and brands stay.
Can I buy a plan today?
Not yet. Checkout is built, but live payments aren't switched on. Until they are, the preview is free, with the real catalog, and every screen works.

Lists and teams

How do brands work?
A workspace holds one or more brands. Each brand has its own searches and lists, so work for one client never shows up in another's. The allowances belong to the workspace.
Which roles are there?
Owner, admin, manager, contributor and viewer. Owners and admins see every brand; everyone else sees the brands they've been given.
Can clients see their lists?
Invite the client as a viewer on just their brand: viewers are free, take no seat and never use the allowance. Or export the list to CSV for the deck.
Do viewers use the allowance or a seat?
Neither. Viewers read lists and the creators your workspace has viewed; they can't search or use profile views. Seats are owners, admins, managers and contributors, plus pending invites for them, so inviting a client as a viewer is free.
